Modern Art Collection
Perhaps more than any other organization Khan Bank's work is interwoven into the culture of all Mongolia, with offices in every part of the country where we employ and serve all ethnic groups and their ancient traditions. When we completed the remodeling of our Central Office in the spring of 2002 we hired art historian Ts. Uranchimeg to curate contemporary Mongolian art for permanent display. It was a logical move based on Khan Bank’s commitment to promoting the art and culture of this fascinating country.
Moreover, when companies honor their culture by buying and displaying its artists' work other good things happen. The workplace is more attractive and interesting. Our staff can enjoy and learn from the works, and feel a little more pride when they come to work every day. The offices become a more appealing place for customers to visit and do business. More high quality works stay in the public domain in Mongolia for Mongolians. And the purchase price is invested in the local arts community, which improves the lives of artists and increases their number and output.
Khan Bank is honored to protect this collection of Mongolian patrimony. We invite you to come to the Khan Bank head office to see the originals. And we hope other organizations will follow suit and enjoy the benefits of such a collection.
