Index Based Livestock Insurance project

The purpose of the project loan:

1.    Index-based livestock insurance project loan
Khan bank disburses a herder loan with 0.2% reduction in loan interest rate of local area that get covered by index-based livestock insurance in order to support their protection activity from a risk of Force-major.

Eligibility requirement for the applicants: Must get covered by Index-based livestock insurance  

2.    Index-based livestock insurance premium loan
the loan is intended for herders who wish to get index-based livestock insurance policy. The loan finances the payment of insurance premium.  

Loan terms:
Amount:          Up to MNT 200,000
Interest rate:  0.2% less than the herder’s loan interest rate in the rural area /monthly/.
Term:              Up to 10 months

Project implementation area: Uvs, Bayankhongor, Khentii, Sukhbaatar Gobi-Altai, Zavkhan, Bulgan, Darkhan Uul and Selenge aimags
