Herder’s deposit

             This deposit product is designed for herders who have reliable sources of income but do not have opportunities to invest. Khan Bank offers an opportunity for herders to deposit their money in long-term deposit accounts and receive a monthly interest payment from the bank.

• Deposit holders receive monthly non-cash interest payments from Khan Bank.
• No interest payments for the first month. However, it is paid with the second month’s interest rate payment.
• No withdrawals prior to maturity, but deposit transactions are allowed.
• Deposit account can be used as collateral for loans.

* Herder’s deposit is available only in rural areas and in MNT.
