The Khan Bank Foundation staff monitors progress against proposal plan, maintaining contact with grantee and project personnel for two-way feedback, identifying and addressing any difficulties early on.
Projects are asked to submit periodic progress reports describing qualitative and quantitative achievements and noting any difficulties faced feasibility of meeting set timelines, outcomes and impacts. Khan Bank Foundation staff seeks to personally visit all projects at their inception and completion, and in the case of major projects, at phased intervals. Where it is not possible for Khan Bank Foundation staff to personally visit a project, for example due to remote location, Khan Bank Foundation arranges for local Khan Bank staff to visit and provide information. Feedback from local community representatives is also regularly sought.
In consultation with the bank’s finance department, procedures are established to ensure appropriate financial control of the disbursements.
