Overview of Khan Bank Foundation

Mission

To support community development in Mongolia and to foster positive and meaningful improvements to people’s lives.

Formally established in 2007, the Khan Bank Foundation administers funding support to programs aimed at educational and cultural advancement, assisting disadvantaged groups of society, community development and environmental protection & preservation.

The Khan Bank Foundation is wholly a part of Khan Bank. A board consisting of Bank’s management team oversees and provides overall guidance for the Foundation’s activities.


Goals & responsibilities of the Khan Bank Foundation

•    To deliver and implement the Bank’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program
•    To contribute to the fulfillment of the Bank’s mission statement
•     To provide an organized and professional structure for the management and delivery of the bank’s CSR efforts.

Target Beneficiaries

•    Children and youth
•    Disadvantaged groups of society
•    Groups and institutions engaged in the development of the arts and culture.
•    Local communities  and community members


The Khan Bank Foundation has a Charter and it identifies the following priority areas:
