Advantage of Mobile Banking
Khan Bank and Mobicom Corporation offered the first Mobile banking service to their customers in Mongolia. This service was introduced for the customers on December 24, 2007.
This enables you to make transactions from your current account, card account or demand deposit account, get exchange rate updates, and other information through your cell phone, which greatly saves you time.
You can apply for this service at any Khan Bank branch that has online services. After activating your mobile banking services for your account, you send a message with the word “ON” to number 586 where you receive instructions on how to complete the activation of your Mobile Banking service.
Mobile Banking annual service fee is 3,000 MNT and you can attach as many accounts as you would like it. There are no fees and commissions when you make transactions through mobile banking but 40 units or MNT is charged by Mobicom for encrypted messages from your cell phone. You will receive separate codes for each of your accounts that have Mobile Banking service and separate transaction codes which ensure the security of your transactions.
