Khan Bank also offers American Express, Thomas Cook MasterCard and VISA Travellers Cheques, Canadian and American dollar bank drafts and American Express Gift Cheques.

Instructions for cash traveller’s cheques:
1.    Travellers Cheques are checked against first signatures when the payments are made.
2.    Cheque holders must sign each cheque in the presence of the bank teller and provide personal ID.
3.    Cheques are cashed in foreign currency or the equivalent in MNT based on the current exchange rate.

Instructions for cashing bank drafts:
1.    Customers must bring in personal ID and their bank drafts to the bank.
2.    The bank issues an invoice upon receiving the bank draft and one copy is given to the customer.
3.    Bank drafts are deposited to your account or cashed within 30 days.

Instruction for cashing Gift Cheques:
1.    Gift cheque receivers sign on the upper side of the cheques.
2.    The signature on the gift cheque must match the signature on your passport and personal ID.
3.    The cheque holder must sign the second signature in the presence of bank teller.
4.    The second signature cannot be signed ahead of time.
